Welcome to the website of the Dordrecht Urban Flood Management project.

In this project, public and private partners team up for research and innovation on sustainable urban development in wet areas. It helps the city of Dordrecht to develop the knowledge and experience needed to deal with future flood risks.

UFM Dordrecht is part of an international research network that includes the cities of Hamburg and London, where comparable projects are undertaken. UFM and other projects have made Dordrecht one of the international frontrunners in the area of sustainable urban water management.
